First peal for treble ringer. First peal in the method by all the band, and the first peal of Union Triples by the Association.
It was rung with the bells half-muffled, as a tribute of respect to the late Mayor of Derby (Henry Fowkes, Esq.), and also to the memory of the late Rev. H. T. Ellacombe, Rector of Clyst St. George, Devon.
