Grandsire Major
On Tuesday, August 4th, being the day of the funeral of the Rev. H. T. Ellacombe, the local band rang the bells half-muffled, commencing with a plain course of Grandsire Major, (the deceased gentleman being in his 96th year), followed by some Grandsire Triples and Treble Bob Major. And on Sunday, August 9th, for Divine Service, two touches of Bob Major, and a 252 of Stedman Triples.
