"Could you please convey my very best wishes and thanks to those that are taking the time and effort to raise the awareness of blood cancer and its sufferers such as my inspirational sister of whom I am so desperately proud. I have been reassured that what you are attempting to do today is borderline madness but I am hoping my donation will match your efforts. I have sent 25,000 Euros due to the ridiculous conversion rates at the moment as I had promised the pledge would be at least 20K. Would it be possible for the ringers to dedicate their ringing to my sister? Could the words be;
"For Julie Dawn McDonnell (Harrison) for her astounding efforts to help fellow blood cancer sufferers. Charles Edward Montague a famous son of Northamptonshire said "There is no limit what a man can do do long as he does not care a straw who gets the credit for it" . Julie, you are the pride of Northamptonshire. Get well soon after your operation today P.A.H"
